What do I do to make my Neighbour stop playing loud music from his stereo? It’s really so disturbing.
If it’s continuous throughout every day, ask them to at least cut it down. If they don’t agree, you can maybe talk to the police about it. It’s usually a tricky one though, unless they are causing the noise late at night where you have the right to ask them to stop without question.
You could maybe gather some support from other members of the neighbourhood, I’m guessing that you’re not the only one bothered by all that noise. Other than that, there isn’t much you can do. It’s up to them to be decent and civil about the how often they play music and how loud, but some just don’t care unfortunately.
You can just ask them nicely to turn the volume of music a little down. If they do the same thing just call the police on account of them disturbing the peace. But please remember, you need proof. Record the noise on video or audio to prove that you’re not lying just incase the neighbours become untruthful in their defense. Don’t think that they’re gonna blame you for calling police, if they don’t respect your rights as their neighbour you can take every initiative to get your rights back.
