Is it really a big deal if my girlfriend still follows her ex on social media?
It really may not mean anything but you could bring up the issue with her if you’re not comfortable with her connecting with her ex on social media. Also, when exes stay in touch, it can breed unnecessary connection and old flames may start to burn. If I were you, I’d ask that she unfollows her ex, and if she can’t, she should be able to give me reasonable excuse for that. If she cannot give anything reasonable, then she probably still loves the ex and there are chances they might get back together. So, where does that leave me?
While there is nothing wrong with that, you may want to try and have the discussion with her so that you don’t continue to assume stuff in your mind. If you don’t talk about with her, you’ll find yourself assuming the worst about her and the ex (you might be right with your assumptions though), and this will sabotage your relationship with her, especially if your assumption isn’t right.
