If they’re truly your friend, they should feel insecure or threatened by your progress in life. Sometimes, when I feel I’m not progressing and my friends are doing better than I am, I can get a little jealous. Trust me, we’re all humans and a little jealousy is allowed sometimes so far we don’t allow it cloud out head from seeing the bigger picture. If your friends are progressing well, it’s a good thing. That’s when you should get closer to them, learn what they’re doing right and see if you can imbibe it. You gain nothing by hating on people you ought to learn from.
Have you tried to mention your friends’ names in a room full of opportunities? Have you tried to pimp your friends to an opportunity or the other? Are you a friend that hoards opportunities from his fellow friends? I’ll let you know something, the gate is less when we’re all winning. You may try to link your friends to opportunities you feel might be good for them. That way, they are busy and don’t get insecure with your own progress cos they’ll be busy progressing too. The gate is always less when everyone in the circle is progressing.
