Most poor people tend to be loyal only when they’re poor but change when they become rich. Why is this?

This is one of the façades of human behaviors. Many good people are good people only because they don’t have, just to become the worst of human beings when they seem to have what they didn’t have.

Being rich only amplifies whatever kind of person you are already. If you’re a nice person, your positive effect will be amplified and if you’re a selfish person that will become stronger too. It’s not always a corrupting influence if you have a solid set of values in the beginning. Being poor doesn’t allow you the luxury for deep introspection to think about higher needs, but builds character the hard way. Being rich affords you the luxury to think and pontificate on more abstract concepts with more freedom of mind.
At some point I’ll link some questions/answers from the other threads because there are some excellent first hand accounts there. But feel free to search and find the questions related to money and behaviors

A lot of people believe that, but that’s not necessarily true. I know enough nice people who are rich and got a lot going for them. But it also depends on the person. You gotta look at if somebody has a selfish personality and find out if they go out their way to do things that really help people when they don’t have to even if they’re not rich but have money and ways to help. Like for me I don’t have enough money to help other people and if I did I would and most people won’t even if they had millions of dollars. I mean you might not be able to know exactly how they’re wired, but how they act and through each different situation and the circumstances can determine greatly how someone would be if they were rich. Like I know so many people right now that whether if they were poor or rich who I could tell would not want to help people and that’s most people. My personality with wealth is even if I’m not filthy rich even if I made at minimum just 400k a year that’s the kind of money that if you don’t spend it like a fool you should never fall under a bill being paid and get something very nice everyday like a gaming laptop for example while having all the other stuff you need. But if I don’t got that much and nobody is helping me then I can be a mean person person because other people are and extremely selfish.
