That’s solely based on the individual. You have people tell you high content books like fictions and your nonfictions make them the highest money on Amazon kdp, while some will tell you it’s the low content books that do it for them. I’ll say this, if you’re not on a budget, you can go for both. Publishing high content books require you to invest some money into the publishing, especially if you’re not a writer. You’d be required to pay for the services of a ghost writer, but it’s not the case with low content books as you can easily use free tools like Canva.com to make your book covers. That’s not to say the stress and efforts you have to put into producing these covers yourself. It’s all on you, if you can, go for both. Find niches that suit you and can make you money while at it.
Generally, books with great content sell the most on Amazon. Genres like romance sell very well as they have a hungry reader base and there are tons of resources available for romance authors. You can make money on low content books, but keep in mind competition is fierce and Amazon is cranking down on these types of books. That’s why it’s important to find a good niche, create quality books, market your stories well, and publish frequently.
