Personally I always tried to keep my distance. I stayed in my room on my phone watching videos or listening to music. They’d barge in from time to time to annoy me about something but for the most part as long as I was in a different room watching funny videos or a good movie, it was tolerable to be in the same house as them.
Living or working with a narcissistic person can be incredibly challenging, often leading to feelings of inadequacy, self-doubt, and anxiety. In more extreme cases, exposure to a narcissist can lead to clinical depression from the emotional abuse and torment a person has had to endure. It is hard, extremely hard. Because narcissists are known for using the people around them and if they’re not able to, they make you the victim.
