Contents found on dark web are not always are darkening as people often make the sound of it to be. The thought of dark web immediately conjures thoughts of illegal drug sales, pornography, weapons of mass destruction, fraud and other criminal acts. The reality however is that the bulk of activity appearing on the dark web is much like the content and commerce found on the clear web.
Although the dark web receives a lot of negative attention for its commitment to anonymity, most of the dark web activities are entirely legal.
The positive side of the deep web is that vital information like your bank details, social media password, etc is protected. The benefits of such info on the deep web is for protection. Or would you want every person in the world to have access to your online banking? Would you want everyone to be able to read all your Facebook messages, or have access to your Amazon account, or be able to see and change your credit card details? The positive side to the dark web is anonymity. That’s why it was made. People in totalitarian countries use the dark web to access news sites that are banned by their government without being identified. Major news outlets have dark web information portals that allow whistleblowers to communicate privately.
