Yes definitely, vaping is much better than smoking. Vaping was originally created to be a risk reduction strategy for tobacco smokers, but when looking at the damage that it causes to the lungs there is very little difference. On the other hand, smoking was thought to be more harmful because the product is being burnt and smoke inhaled into the lungs.
Smoking is known to cause cancer and other life-threatening ailments. Smoking also produces soot and tar, which accumulate in the lungs and can cause irreparable damage. There are thousands of chemicals in cigarettes. No one knows for sure exactly what’s in cigarettes because big tobacco lobbied to keep it secret. Vaping significantly reduces the harm one would suffer from cigarettes. The ingredients in vaping are known. The residue from vaping is water soluble and is easily absorbed by your body. It’s true that all the possible long term effects of heating and vaporizing vape liquid can’t be fully understood without long term study, but the immediate reduction in harm over smoking is undeniable.
