Science, although always at loggerheads with faith (religion), but it is worthwhile to know that people didn’t just come about science. It definitely is attached to something.

No. Science is a gift from humans to themselves. Anything that is beneficial to humankind that Christians have not previously thought of or is not in the bible, they will always attribute or arrogate it to God, who is imaginary and they have no proof of.
Science is a system, a toolset for learning about the world. I imagine that early religious folk did expect all they learned to point toward a god, preferably there own specific version of God, but that is not the way it turned out.
