Driving a right hand drive car on the left side of the road is a problem because it is easy to forget which side of the road you are supposed to be on. Driving a right hand drive car in North America causes some problems. The main one is overtaking, because your vehicle has to be far further to the left before you can see what is ahead. So long as you never overtake, you should be fine!
There is one advantage of RHD has over LHD- most people are right handed, our dominant hand is focused on the most important task – steering – and can’t so easily be used to reach for other items in the car such as mobile phones in order to start texting etc. Not that it stops some drivers who deliberately mount their phones to their right precisely so they can easily access it with their right hand.
