The retinol cream has been recommended to me by a friend to use for my acne; as much as I want to get rid of those stubborn acnes, I wouldn’t want to use just anything on my face.

  1. Unlike Salicylic acid that helps to exfoliate the dead skin cells, remove oils, dirts and open plugged pores. Or benzoyl peroxide that can kills bacteria causing acne. Retinol works in sort of a different way, they are keeping dead skin cells on the move can help to keep pores clear and open so other topical acne medications can penetrate effectively. Other than that, Retinol also work to stimulate collagen production, which can help improve the appearance of scarring related to acne as well. Hope this helps🤗

  2. When spread on the skin, retinoids can unclog pores, allowing other medicated creams and gels to work better. They also reduce acne outbreaks by preventing dead cells from clogging pores. By clearing acne and reducing outbreaks, they may also reduce the formation of acne scars. Remember that it takes several weeks for your skin to adjust to the product, so it’s best to use it sparingly at first and gradually increase your use as time goes on. If your skin becomes dry or irritated, I will suggest holding back to every third night or even once per week.
