I have a 4C type of hair, yeahhhh I’m Black— and it is really thick and short. A friend told me about using onion water to hasten the growth. I want to know if it is safe for my scalp and really effective as she said.

Onion juice is a healer of scalp, and the reason why some people claim it helped them regrow the hair, is because it stopped the hair loss and made their scalp become healthy and alive. When you keep your hair and scalp healthy using onion juice for many months, eventually your hair begins to grow. The key to bringing your hair back using onion juice, is that you have to use it to stop your hair loss first of all, and when it is stopped, you end up automatically growing more hair than you are actually losing because of the effect of the juice. Onions will absolutely stop your hair loss process but it may not be able to fully reverse it. If you notice that there is no regrowth of hair using onion juice, you’ll have to switch to garlic juice instead. You can mix garlic juice and onion juice together and apply it on a regular basis. Garlic will stimulate your hair growth 10 times more than onion.
Onion juice is totally safe, When it is applied to the hair and scalp, onion juice can provide extra sulfur to support strong and thick hair, thus preventing hair loss and promoting hair growth. Applying onion juice to the hair and scalp could increase blood supply to hair follicles, which in turn improves hair growth
