Narcissistic personality disorder is not a kind of disorder than can be clinically tested with the air of hospital equipments and drawing of a patient’s blood. However, narcissistic personality disorder can be tested in a person through the use of some psychological tests. There is no drug to cure narcissism, it can only be maintained.
Narcissistic personality disorder is a DSM, it’s a clinically diagnosable disorder. Though, there are no lab tests to confirm a mental disorder. Professionals only try to use the Narcissistic Personality Inventory, a list of 40 questions that measures things such as how much attention and power someone craves. That is what is used to diagnose NPD.
