Often times I see people smoke inside their car while on motion, it gets me thinking “what if’s”. Is it safe or they’re just taking risk?

If you must smoke while driving, keep in mind you cannot keep the smoke or the smell out regardless of how much you try to keep the cigarette outside the window. Open all the windows at least halfway to make certain there is a lot of fresh air circulating inside the car to prevent any fabrics absorbing the smoke. Make sure you smoke only on open stretches and not while stuck in traffic. Use a cup of water in cup holder to constantly flick your ashes to minimize them flying all over the place. Make certain your ac/heater are pulling air from outside and not recirculating the inside air. Recirculating indoor air will cause the vents to stink and, in turn, constantly stink up your car.
