Is it possible to think about someone everyday but never speak to them?

I have an ex I’ve not spoken to in two years, but I think about her everyday since the past two years. How? She doesn’t even stay in my city, I’ve not seen her in two years, so why can’t I get her out of my mind?

It is common. It may mean that you think very highly of them. You might want to put the emotions aside and think about it logically. This feeling will go away when you find someone new or realize that you have spent months waiting for them and they have moved on.
Now if she thinks about you too and is unaware, the only thing you can do is be bold and speak up your mind before it is too late. Be ready for any outcome. Since you are thinking about her all the time, I am sure you must be having long conversations with her in your mind. That is one critical factor for “Can’t stop thinking about them”. This could be because you wanted to say something but couldn’t and there is still so much to talk with her but she is not available.

It is not always obsession. It is not always infatuation. Maybe it is for some people, maybe.
Sometimes it’s something else. Take me, for instance. It’s been four months since I’ve talked to someone and I can’t stop thinking of the person. Why? I can’t stop because even when I’m busy with all the other things I do on a daily basis.. her feel is there. It’s like she is standing right there next to me and whatever I happen to be doing seems more like it is a ‘we’ that is doing it. Like a mutual project, or mutual responsibility. Will I ever get to speak with her? I honestly don’t know. Will I ever stop thinking of her? I don’t know.
