My wife went for what was supposed to be a simple regular checkup at the hospital, until she was informed about the cancer. How come? She doesn’t have any symptoms. Neither does she feel sick or something.
Is it possible to be diagnosed with ovarian cancer without you developing symptoms yet?

It is possible to live with ovarian cancer for several years and not detect it. Early cancers don’t often show symptoms, which is why by the time it is detected, it must’ve spread through the body by then, which makes is extremely dangerous. The symptoms of ovarian cancer are vague at the early stage, in fact, there might be symptoms you’re seeing but just ignoring because they seem too unlikely to be symptoms of something as serious as ovarian cancer.
I had no symptoms too. I got married last year at the age of 37. I started having pains on my right side 6 weeks ago, then I went to the doctors and all she did was sent me away with pain relieve meds but I was still getting pain so I decided to go to A/E at the hospital and had a scan, it was there I found a mass. I had blood test done with a CT scan and found it was ovarian cancer but still at stage 3B so I had to have 3 lots of Chemo to shrink the mass and then operation. It was really a trying time for myself and my husband as anything could go wrong and yeah, they had to remove my tubes and ovaries.
