It may depend on the situation the child is in. I can only take a homeless child after doing alot of investigations that specific child, as failure to do that can actually land one in jail. I can remember when I was in middle school, my teacher was arrested because she picked a homeless child on her way back home. It was late in the evening when the teacher met this child crying. The child claimed that he was an orphan and his guardian had chased him away from home. She was arrested by the boy’s parents claiming that their child was kidnapped long time ago. Therefore, it is very tricky to take such homeless kids without the knowledge of their backgrounds.

That would be kidnapping. Why would you take a child off the street without going through the proper channel? Apart from the fact that you could face some legal consequences, it is highly dangerous for you. There are many kids on the streets you pretend to be homeless but they’re thieves. You put yourself at great risk when you do that, in some cases, not just you, your family too. It is dangerous, legal penalties aside.
