Should I ever date my ex back? We’ve been separated for a little over 3 years, but we’ve been in touch and the communication has been great.
Why don’t you ask him the way forward. Asking him will help you prevent any unnecessary heartbreak. He might not be thinking in that direction of getting back. Some times, people are better off as friends than partners. You need to understand this too. But you should talk to him first, clear things.
Why did you break up? Who took the decision? Why is he back? Please please please do me a favour and do not ask yourself if you are pretty, good, whatever enough for him, try to find out how you feel about him and if you think you will feel better having him back into your life, that’s all that matters. Getting back with an ex can work well, it depends why it finished the first time around and if both parties are willing to invest new energy to make things work, if there’s the will there will always be a way, but first be sure you know what you want
