The only way you can claim benefits of hookah over other tobacco products is that most people only smoke sparingly. It’s more of a social thing with a bunch of other people. Look, nothing in life is good for you in excess and some things are not good even in moderation. As long as I don’t have to contribute to the healthcare of people who don’t care for their health, I don’t care. Maybe they do, or don’t, die younger, that is really not my problem. The choices we all make have consequences, consequences you must be willing to accept. As long as your choices don’t make consequences for me, knock yourself out.
I don’t get how anyone can think smoking a big bowl of tobacco is any better than smoking a cigarette. I know a few people that smoke hookahs regularly, but think they’re better off than a cigarette smoker. I guess there’s some sort of misunderstanding about what shisha really is, and people don’t seem to realize it’s still tobacco. That’s still surprising though, considering the tobacco high everyone describes when they smoke it. Obviously you’re smoking something intoxicating if you’re getting a high. Whether it is cigarettes, cigars, hookah, pipes, or water pipes, it’s all tobacco and its all bad for you.
