It is not the most to be fluent in English if your official language is not English and if you were not born in an English-speaking country. However it is important to have a grasp of the English language in order to be able to communicate with people and express yourself outside your local area.

I’m pretty much in the same boat. I have been trying to learn English for more than 6 years and I still have a long way to go. Speaking is definitely the hardest part because you have to think fast and pronounce correctly and what makes it even harder is when you don’t have anyone to practice with. But just know that you really can’t compete with a language.
