HFX trading stands for High-Frequency Forex trading. Forex trading is speculating on the value of one currency against another. The trading systems are often based on fundamental or technical analysis. I use quantitative analysis to compute and time my stock positions. I have yet to see the proof that High-Frequency trading has an edge over low-frequency trading.
HFX enables traders to extensively study the fundamentals monitoring of cyclical stocks, and improve their chances of success. Forex trading is legal, but not all forex brokers follow the letter of the law. While forex trading is legal, the industry is rife with scams and bad actors. Investors need to do their due diligence before venturing into what can be a Wild West version of global financial markets.
