Asthma is a long standing problem where people have shortness of breath, they can wheeze or they can have just repeated coughing episodes and those symptoms usually will happen with a cold virus irritating their lungs, or if they’re around somebody who’s smoking, or their allergies are really bad or they’ve been exercising for a long time.

Asthma is not curable, but that does not mean that people with asthma will experience regular asthma attacks. Much of the time, people with asthma can control their symptoms by: working with healthcare professionals to develop and follow an asthma treatment plan. identifying and avoiding triggers for asthma attacks. Best Exercises for Asthma: Yoga, Swimming, Biking, and Walking. Exercise is a common trigger for asthma symptoms. Many people with asthma may experience difficulty breathing, coughing, wheezing, or chest tightness during or after exercise. Exercise has been shown to benefit all individuals, including those with asthma.

Asthma is an allergic disease. So basically it is like any other allergy, which can be treated and controlled but can not be cured. For you to control it, first identify your inhalational allergen or irritant usual allergens are smoke , dust and pollen. All you can do is prevent exposure from these allergens or irritants. And consult a Doctor when symptoms like difficulty in breathing, wheezing, chest tightness etc. occur. Cigarette smoking and passive smoke may reduce the effectiveness of medications I developed asthma attack 2 years back due to dust and smoke, I keep distance from these allergens and since then I havent had any attack till date.
