  1. Most Ferrari users only drive their toys on special occasions. Whether that makes sense or not depends a lot on their financial situation. It’s different to own a Ferrari in a garage packed with Porsches, Jags and Bugattis, in which case you might have a dedicated mechanic or at least can easily afford the factory dealer services, or if it’s the only luxury car you own and can barely afford, even if you don’t break anything.

  2. If you own a Ferrari it’s probably best that it’s driven daily… it’s also best if you know how to work on it or if you don’t then be ready to. For me it’s kind of pointless to own a Ferrari for the same reason I wouldn’t buy a classic car. The parts are expensive, breaks down more regular than a new Camry and the driving experience isn’t becoming as distinguishable as it may have been in the past. Motor trend and lots of afficianados always rave about the sounds of these cars. I’m like WTF the sound a car makes is nothing compared to how it handles, accelerates or performs at the track.
