Every decision you make in life sure has an effect on your life and can change he course of your life, can be negative or positive.  Some of those decisions can also influence people around you.  If you get a chance to go back  in time and right whatever you did wrong, what would it be??

I’ve been thinking about my answer to this question and if I’m honest I don’t think I would change anything. Don’t get me wrong, there are definitely things that I regret doing or not doing in my life, but I believe that everything in life happens for a reason. I think that ultimately the choices I make in my life will lead me to where I’m destined to be so I can’t really regret any of my decisions because I don’t know where they will lead me to yet. I believe that the reason we all have regrets is because we don’t have the foresight necessary to see that although at the time they seem like bad decisions, in the long run they help mould/direct your life into what it is destined to be. In the end, I just hope that the life i’m destined to live and the life that I want to live are mutually inclusive.

When I was 19, I got a scholarship to go to New York for my College studies. I told my parents about it, they were not pleased with it as I would be traveling out of my country to a different country and continent entirely. Out of so much fear for my parents and not to disobey them, I stayed back in India and had my college studies there. Every time I think about that scholarship I forfeited, I beat myself. I still haven’t forgiven myself for that decision made to stay back. The scholarship would’ve paved way for me and make available to me, many opportunities. Sadly, i have not gotten the opportunity to go to New York since I forfeited that opportunity, even though I tried many times later. It just didn’t work out. It was such a very bad decision, the worst I’ve made in my life.
