Okay, so I want to learn web design and the passion for it is not my drive. My drive is the money I intend to make from it. Am I likely to learn fast since I’m not driven by passion?
If the money I’ll make from learning a skill is my drive for learning the skill, do I stand a chance of committing to it and learn fast?

I believe both are important but our priorities should be our passion. If we want to see the other phase of life which is creative, full of love, independence, respect, growth we should keep our passion our priority.
Passion belongs to one’s emotions, beliefs, values he or she carrying. All these things play a big role in changing one’s life. One who is more emotional, believer, respect values, trustworthy is more capable to achieve passion.
If we talk about money part that is also equally important to run a livelihood, our responsibilities toward our parents, society. But money should not be our priority.
We need to keep balance in our life and that is not easy because sometime our priorities create imbalance and that is very okay. Never worries in case you have to take hard decisions and it puts you and your family in struggle. Because this is the way we can understand life much better, we can grow better.
There is nothing worse than having to wake up every morning during the week to mindlessly go do work you don’t even care about. However, this is never really an issue when you are passionate about the work you do. If you are not forced to work somewhere because of monetary constraint, you truly enjoy what you do and you never really work a day in your life.
When you put passion first into learning a skill or a work you do, you can relate more to the work and come up with better ideas. Being forced to do work is one of the most draining experiences. While there are times at every job where you may feel the work may be draining and dull, you have to realize that not every day is going to be an enjoyable one. There are highs and lows, but when you are passionate about the work you you look past the dull days. Your creative process is also different. You are more inclined to come up with creative ideas when you like what you do.
