I noticed a while ago that I have a hole in my throat, just by the left side, it stores food sometimes and I can tell when the food starts decaying because of the foul odor, it is painless but is this normal?

that is weird, have you seen a doctor? you mentioned no pain so I guess it’s harmless? still i maintain you should see a doctor because you shouldn’t have a hole in your throat, it might be the underlying symptom of something that you do not know.
Totally normal, in my experience, my daughter noticed this at 15years old and we took her in for a series of test, trying to make a situation out of something that was perfectly normal, sometimes there are somethings in our bodies that we cannot explain and its just okay to let them be.
