there is most likely nothing wrong with you. Ask yourself this question- Do I work out a lot? Am I very active? Am I very skinny? If you can answer these questions with a yes then most likely nothing is wrong with you. However if you answer no then I would recommend talking to a trusted adult or mature friend and seeing specialist. Also many women do not get their period and if you don’t there’s nothing “wrong” with you. You can always adopt kids. I was in your boat when I was younger too. I got my period when I was 17. Remember as an adolescent you are always going to be pressured to be perfect or to be “right”, in the end its always up to you to decide what is right and what’s wrong. So look at not getting your period with a positive mind set- at least you won’t ever bleed through your white sweatpants.
I didn’t get mine until I was 18. Every girl is different, and unless you have health problems of some kind, it’s just your body doing what it wants to do. I’ve known several other women who didn’t get theirs until later, and there was nothing wrong with any of them. The average age, when I was young, was between 12 and 14, but there were early bloomers and late bloomers. Assuming you’re otherwise healthy, you’re just in the ‘late’ category.
