How do i upgrade to family sharing on apple music, is it a must to share it with others?
The purpose of paying for a family sharing package is to share with 5 other people, that way you pay lesser. In my country, the Individual Plan for Apple Music in costs roughly half of the Family Plan for Apple Music. Sharing with other people makes me pay way lesser. That’s the only reason I am able to afford it.
You can switch your plan on your Apple Music profile. Also, you can switch to Family Plan during your trial period for another plan. You will only get charged after the trial. Note that the trial won’t reset, it will include the time you activated it as an Individual Plan. Family Sharing gives other members in your iCloud Family an access to the service. Everyone gets their own library and no one can access each other’s.
