What are the effective ways to teach a new language to a child in his formative years?
A great and super effective way to teach a new language to a child is through the use of songs. I remember when I learnt the French language when I was very much younger, it was super effective and it made learning easy and super flexible. I am in my twenties and I can still remember many of those songs, and I can easily translate them to English.
Books are a great way to introduce kids to a new language and there are quite a few different options, depending on the child’s preferences. There are books that mix both English and the other language: These kinds of books are great because they mimic the way a child learns in real life – where languages get mixed up together.
