Give yourself you deserve and can afford. When my aunt first had her divorce, she said to me “I need to go have a whole body and brain reset in a tropical zone”. Few days later, she was in Brazil, to cool off. When your marriage hits the rock, and divorce comes into play, I believe the first and best thing for each person is to first take a breath of fresh air anywhere they can get that. Breathe, and breathe more. It’s normal to feel you’ve made a huge mistake or something, the thought of that can make you sad. But the truth is, is you were happy in your marriage, you wouldn’t have had a divorce.
People divorce in order to seek happiness, so the purpose of divorce should be happiness. Divorce can instantly bring happiness if you permit yourself to be happy because within the first place you needed divorce from that person to be happy. Marriage actually is that the main reason for divorce not you. Marriage may be a licensed prostitution. It seems very strange to me how people find love within the structured and conditional environment of marriage.
