Revamping your old weaves brings them back to life and gives them a fresh look. Since you cannot determine the nature of the weave — whether it is heat-resistant or not — use lukewarm water to be on the safe side. Lukewarm water suits any kind of weave; be it synthetic or human hair. Add some shampoo to the water and soak weave for 40minutes. Wash and rinse, then apply generous amount of leave in conditioner. Dry weave in natural light and store in a plastic bag.

If you’ve got old weaves you want to bring back to life, it’s best if you take them to the professionals. Different hair types have different ways of caring for them. Sometimes, you’d think you’re revamping the hair, only to make it worse because when you ought to look lukewarm water, you used hot water.
