Know why you hate yourself. There are different reasons why you can hate yourself; childhood trauma, past mistakes, criticisms from people, and so on. Know the cause.
Have compassion for yourself. Show yourself some kindness, find one or two things that you like about yourself.
Say positive things about yourself. Write out he positive affirmations and say them out loud to yourself. You will definitely feel confident after this.
Accept compliments from people. If people compliment your hair, accept the fact that your hair is actually nice.
Learn to say no to others. Sometimes, when you hate yourself, you tend to please other and impress them. Learning to say no may be hard at first, but people will definitely adjust when you start telling them no.
Forgive yourself and others. Forgiveness will make you feel light and free. When you hold on to past mistakes and offended, you won’t be able to move forward.

Self hatred is the feeling that you’re not enough or simply not good at anything. Self hatred is usually caused by some underlying factors, knowing these factors help in tackling self hatred, identifying the cause of your hateful feeling towards yourself is a good way to start overcoming your self hatred. Look for ways you can be kinder to yourself. Treat yourself well, nurture your inner self. Stop criticizing yourself-what you tell yourself negatively affect you greatly. Practice positive affirmations, it will help lift your self confidence. Surround yourself wth positive people-negative people tend to constantly remind you of how bad life is, they never see good in any situation. Positive people on the other hand see good in most things and learn from them. Set goals for yourself and strife to achieve them. Start living the life you have always dreamed of. Practice these things and you will regain yourself back.
