If you have no control over it, why worry and stress over it? The worries and stress won’t make you gain control so it’s pointless worrying over things you clearly have no control over. Worry and stressing will do you no good, it can only worsen the case for you. Cos instead of moving on to better thing you can easily tweak and get control over, you stay mopping and sulking over the ones you cannot control.
We often have trouble letting go of the past because we haven’t forgiven ourselves yet. I’d encourage you to look into meditation and also reading up on goal setting strategies. As you learn to be comfortable in your own skin, forgive yourself with the same compassion you probably offer others in your life, and look fondly on the days to come while enjoying the moments you have, the rot of guilt naturally fades.
