If you are often thinking about what you should post, divert your attention to knowing what your readers want to read. Effective blogging is about satisfying what your target audience wants. Set your priorities right. Check your blog to know what your most reads are, create more contents on those ideas you see that your audience is more interested in. Use search engine to your advantage. Also, search for questions on platform like reddit and quora, read the answers to those questions, know what an answer lacks; then work on it on your blog. Use social media to your advantage, check for trending hashtags, since it’s a trending people would want to know more about it. Always ask your readers what they would like to see more on your page, they’re your audience after all.
If you’re having a hard time knowing what content to put on your blog, you can search for key words on google. Give good attention to the “related searches suggestion” area at the bottom of the displayed google page. Read contents from other blogs know how they arrange their articles, you will learn a lot from this. Read lots of books, articles, magazines, you can also subscribe to newsletters; you’d be surprised at the hidden knowledge you get from doing all of these. Always be conscious of your environment, you never know when and where you might get content inspiration, it is advisable you always have a small notepad with you. Check the top websites, check their FAQs section, build on those questions. Quora is large platform to help you getting contents for your blog. Check Twitter for hashtags, trending and relevant hashtags.
