Look for the apps taking the most space, these apps have an option to clear cache in setting.
If it doesn’t have an option to clear cache then you can delete and reinstall the app. Just log in and reconfigure your settings and you are good to go. It either that or you buy an iPhone with larger space. You can also buy more iCloud storage, although this doesn’t free up space on an iPhone directly, but you can save some certain data to iCloud and then delete them from your iPhone, which could free up space on your iPhone. If you want to directly free up space on an iPhone, you need to delete some data like apps, photos etc. Or you can use a third-party tool such as Syncios iOS eraser to help you clear junk files to free up space on your iPhone.
Apple has options in settings to offload applications. Basically, it keeps a copy of your application in the cloud and pulls it down only if you use it. That’s one way to make more storage available on your iPhone. There is no way to increase the actual amount of storage on an iPhone, but you can use cloud services like iCloud to store data such as pictures, files, video, apps which frees up space. For me, what I do is to pay for more iCloud space and keep all my files and media there, I do not have to worry about the actual iPhone storage.
