An LV bag was gotten from an online vendor but I doubt the authenticity. How do I confirm if it’s original?

The most effective way (that works for me) is to check the logo. No matter how a designer can be copied, the logo cannot be copied 100% perfect. Make sure that the logo is printed correctly. No spelling mistake. Spelling mistakes should be warning signs to buyers. In addition to confirming the authenticity of the logo, look for the logo in other locations on the item. For instance, most zipper pulls, name plates, and even shoe soles will have the logo engraved, not stamped.
Most designer product have authentication numbers that you can use to check if the item is original or not. But if your doesn’t come with such number, then you’d have to make yourself really familiar with the brand. Compare to real pieces like; the tags, the stitching, the style and spacing of the lettering, etc.
