I often find myself in situations where I have been used and manipulated, as an adult this gets to me everytime but I do not know the tell tale signs so I would to be more aware.

I often find myself in situations where I have been used and manipulated, as an adult this gets to me everytime but I do not know the tell tale signs so I would to be more aware.
Maipulation can be tricky because there is such a thing as gaslighting, when you are being gaslighted you might doubt even your own sanity, some people are so good at manipulating that their victims don’t even know that they are being manipulated until much after the damage is done.
haha, it is always funny to me when a grown adult person tries to manipulate me, there are for sure tell tales signs, do they always appeal to pity? do they always defend their positions? when confronted do they change the topic? do you feel like you are being led on? Best to trust your insticts and this will always guide you.
