People are different and each of them has unique characteristics and understanding. People not born with knowledge or intellect they are developing themselves during their lifetime. Intellect is something that people evolve thanks to their practice, education, and surrounding. No one can tell another person that he or she is not intellectual because there is no standard for intellect. Each person has a unique way of understanding that may enforce others to think that the level of intellect is low for that person. What passes for an intellectual varies. Too many people are under the misconception that they are, when they are far from what is the true meaning of the word. Thus, each person is intelligent and there are no standards to decide who is intelligent and who is not.
Quite easy— Low IQ, and being more emotional than rational (especially by being more convinced by fallacies than by logic), and caring more about winning or not getting blamed or being respectful than caring about the truth.
