It’s the beginning of a new month and I can’t help but wonder how February 29th borns are going to celebrate their birthday.

I wasn’t born on February 29th, but I’ve never understood why this is a big deal. Why not just celebrate it on Feb. 28th, or March 1st? It’s not like leap years bend the fabric of space-time and cause you to age differently or anything. A year is a year, isn’t it?
There are 3 possible answers; 1st of March, 28th of Febuary, and a superbirthday every 4 years (like my dad). My dad is a February 29ther, his birthdays are not celebrated on any particular day. We only celebrate on the nearest weekend for the 3 years he doesn’t have a birthday. Then, on leap years, it’s a bigger deal of a party.
