I cannot download movies to watch later on my Netflix, I keep getting download error with the message “you have downloads on too many devices…”. How do I go about this?

That’s an indication that you have exceeded the maximum number of devices that can store downloaded titles at the same time. You can use up to 4 devices to download titles, depending on your plan. To download to a new device, you can either remove downloaded titles from an existing device or upgrade your streaming plan.
If you’re not interested in upgrading your plan, then you will have to remove some devices from your Netflix account. When you log into your Netflix account from a web browser, navigate to the manage devices, Netflix will then show you the number of devices associated with your account, in addition to videos downloaded on each one of them. Just hover your mouse over the device you want to remove and click the option ‘Remove device.’ Once you do that, all the downloaded Netflix content on that device will become unavailable. That is it, you won’t see such message again when you try to download.
