Starting to sell on the Amazon marketplace requires you to create an Amazon Seller Account and list the products that you want to sell. This registration process will challenge you to think about many different aspects of selling online, for example listing configurations, shipping options, and seller fees. The process that was just explained is relatively straightforward. However, starting to sell and selling successfully are two completely different things. From my experience, it is a long process until online merchants have improved their seller ratings so that they are frequently listed in search results.
There are 2 ways to sell on Amazon. You have Amazon FBA and Amazon FBM. Amazon FBM stands for fulfilled by merchant, this means if you sell something you will have to take it to the post office and send it to the customer yourself. Amazon FBA stands for fulfilled by Amazon, this means if you sell something Amazon will package and ship your item out for you.
