I have very brittle nails that break easily, how do I grow stronger nails?
I used to have very thin nails. So, I started to put coconut oil on them and file them short and keep them square. I have a sister who is a manicurist and she says that square is the strongest shape, lol, don’t know about that though. Also stay away from any kind of gel polish or acrylic, they will tear your nails up.
I try to keep my nails painted every week so there’s at least a layer of protection. Also, I’ve started taking some vitamin D supplements. My nails break constantly, I never had long nails and I had to paint them to look presentable. It turned out that I have a chronic vitamin D deficiency. I take it daily now and my nails grow and never break anymore, and on top of that, they look super healthy! But I’ve not started fixing falsies just yet, still protecting my baby nails. Lol
