Temporary visitors to the United States usually need to obtain an entry visa, and the B visas are most common. Although the application process for a visitor visa is fairly simple, successfully obtaining the visa is harder than you might expect. The U.S. State Department, via its consulates around the world, denies a surprising number of visitor visa applications. For that reason, it’s important to fully understand your eligibility. You have to state the purpose of your trip, probably to enter the U.S. for business, pleasure, or medical treatment, which is for a specific period of time. You must have have a residence outside the U.S. as well as other binding ties that will ensure your return at the end of the visit. You will also need to provide convincing proof that you meet them.
To apply for B2 visa, you need to visit US Consulate website in your country. All the requirements for applying for B2 visa are provided on the website. Either fill the B2 visa application online or you can download the form and fill the same manually.
You need to provide the proof of funds available for your visit to USA including, accommodation, sightseeing, internal travel, etc. The funds proof can be a bank draft of the money in the bank in the form of a copy of the bank statement.
Once you complete the application form for your B2 visa, please check and cross check for completeness and it’s accuracy. Then send it to the US Consulate nearest to you.
Your application will be processed, and if you meet all the requirements a B2 visa will be issued to you.
