I figured I had to reset the password to my paypal account, in trying to log in later, I discovered the account has been locked or blocked, whatever. I’ve not been able to make any transactions. Heck! I’ve not been able to log in, thanks to PayPal.
I am pretty sure they emailed you the reason for locking. You just have to address the issue and your account will be unlocked. When i set up my business account first time, it was locked after a week. Apparently i missed an email (I thought it was just a marketing email so didn’t bother checking) from them which asked me for uploading a business document. Once I did that, it was unlocked in a few hours after they verified the autheticity of the said document.
PayPal is becoming more shady with locking peoples accounts especially without proper reasoning but again, your best bet would try and get them to unlock it for you. Account can be locked for different reasons, mostly paypal will need you to submit several document to prove yourself or your business.or you can contact them, they’re very responsoble for every account issue, Once the account active, you can use it normally.
