Getting married is the best option. But if you aren’t planning to do that, a you can try to switch jobs. Look for a company that works visa for their employees. Make sure the company is ready to apply for at least a year or two visa. Once you’re working with a legit company over there, there’s little worrying to do when your visa expires. Your company can easily come through for you.
If you have a really good reason — for example, if you have had a serious accident and are in the hospital or you checked into a rehab due to one thing or the other — you can apply for an extention, and it will usually be granted. That is one of the decent way I know people get to extend their stay without getting ICE bursting them all around. Well, I’d just say don’t overstay without an extension. You could be deported and barred from returning to the US for a long period of years.
