Is there a way I can hide the number of subscribers on my YouTube channel?
It depends on you. Hiding Subscribers has nothing to do with Youtube Algorithms. If you don’t want to show subscribers just hide it irrespective of you are beginner or pro and your views on hundreds or in thousands. Many Great Youtubers hide subscribers. If you aren’t comfortable in it, hide it.
Many people when searching through youtube will tend to favor big channels rather than small channels, hiding your subscribers can prevent what some call “small channel bias” where people trust a big channel more than a small channel even though the small channel might be more correct. Once you get bigger though, hiding your subscribers has really no purpose. If anything it could hurt your channel growth.
