Have you ever made a mistake you did not regret?

Mistakes have now become part of the baggage for life. Instead of living in regret, you chose to try and learn a valuable lesson from your mistakes., apologize, accept the consequences and then try to forgive yourself.

There was a time I filed a criminal conspiracy case and sexual offence case against my ex boyfriend and his father, two elder brothers and sister-in-law..i contacted some women’s organisation in my state for help. I did some othee things which I don’t want to reveal. Those acts were out to avenge the atrocities and betrayal. I took those steps in anger. I wanted to see their families fall. I also wanted to see someone to feel insulted and go through the exact feeling I went through.
It was a mistake on my part. The brothers bribed the police. Nothing came out of it. They still had to suffer for sometime. I didn’t get enough revenge. This was what I felt.
At the end, I was still suffering and it took me five years to move on completely.
I however, do not at all regret my decision. Even though I realises that my efforts were futile, I was satisfied that I didn’t keep quiet like majority of other females who were oppressed or threatened. I have the courage to fight life as it comes to me without ever lowering my head i front of an offender. I found out my strengths and weaknesses. I found the zeal to dream a new dream. I could gather everg broken piece of what was lwft of me and glue them together and stand upright with my head held high. My mistake taught me to live without fear in the face of challenges.

I don’t regret the mistakes in life anymore because I’ve grown to understand that it’s a different permutation and a new path that leads to a new destination. Every mistakes teaches us a lesson, so learn it and move forward in life. This is my way of thinking about it.Yes, it’s a fact that you are haunted by memories which tend to fade away when things get better & that’s quite natural. But, end of the day we have to move on in life we cannot afford to stagnate as the whole of life is as such that even after the death we transition to another new body, just like changing clothes. So why carry regrets and sorrows with us? Just learn the lesson and move forward in life.
