I recently went to a restaurant, I ordered a medium Filet. What turned me off first was how long it took before I got my food. When they brought it, the steak was steaming hot and had a texture like a rubber ball. It looked horrible and one bite and I knew it was no good. It was a total disaster. I complained, respectfully of course, and wanted a new steak. They told me they didn’t have any more so I had to pick something else. So that’s when it became clear, the steak had obviously been done way before that time I got there and it had to be reheated severely before it was served to me. I paid for it because I was only given the option of picking another thing but I refused. Well, I’m never going back.
Stopped by a restaurant to eat in LA on a Saturday afternoon, it was not entirely crowded and I got a table outside immediately. Service was not great as I had to go inside to get waitstaff including ordering and sorting the bill. Food was mehhh…I ordered the prosciutto scramble, argula and fennel salad. The scramble didn’t come with prosciutto and argula salad was extremely sour and so plain.
