Green food coloring doesn’t digest, so if it was bright, grass green, then you ate a lot of something that had green dye in it. If it was a more subdued sort of green, that’s excessive bile salts. Happens to just about everybody sometimes, but could be a sign of digestive troubles if it happens regularly.
Green poop really doesn’t have to be something of medical concern, it can be as a result of what you’ve eaten. If you’ve been eating lots of veggies, it’s only normal for your poop to be green. However, if your poop continues to be green and slimy for days without any changes, and you know you’re eating things that could instigate that. Then it’s high time you went to see a doctor as there could be some thing wrong somewhere, not to scare you, but it’s better to be safe than to discover when it’s late.
