I am a nutritionist, and i always tell people, especially lactating mothers, that the only thing that ever really help is to be hydrated and well fed. If your calories drop down your milk is the first to go down. It may be strange or weird to light eaters who just became new moms, but considering the fact that you’d have to feed a life through what you eat is enough force.
I’d suggest adding flax to oats, lactation cookies made with flax and Brewers yeast, a dark beer every once in awhile and finally Gatorade. When I started drinking Gatorade my supply went gangbusters. Best of luck! It does get easier.
